It was rare and unique image, everybody was busy and aggressive in their pursuits and here she was happy in crowd.  I looked at others to see if they were so happy and giggly as she was, and I didn't get any more shots like that....!!  :-)

Life around Jal Mahal, Jaipur

This is my second set on life around Jal Mahal in Jaipur.  People come for walks in the evening. Kids come to catch fish, some to earn their living, some just ask for a ice cream from tourists.  I saw this guy he was real smart in catching fish others were not so smart.  I observed that he threw the smaller fishes he caught back in the water. This young girl was sad because she didn't sell any of fish food she was selling and the third guy just wanted to have ice cream, and followed me around for that. It was interesting to see everyone pursuing their own particular desire.

Last Week I spent my evening at Jal Mahal in Jaipur.  I found it one of the most attractive place in Jaipur because of the serenity of the place.  Life here gets busy in the evening as people start coming in.  From a photographer's point of view, evening is the best time to visit Jal Mahal.  Lighting is just perfect for clicking some good images of Jal Mahal.  One can get an elephant ride or camel ride. there is cafe coffee day at a petrol pump just across the road.  I spent my time clicking pictures and talking to kids and the woman with umbrella. And bought food for fishes from kids. Got some nice Pix.

Elephant Festival in Jaipur is the most popular of festivals, and attracts tourists and locals from all over India and overseas.  Well it was my first festival in Jaipur, I reached little late at the festival but still got some good images at the festival. This year it happened at Jaipur Polo Ground and was more organized, that's what people said. Its an annual event  happens every year in March.
